"Ensign on the Bay" Oil painting by Dan Izard

"Ensign on the Bay" oil painting by esteemed local artist Dan Izard. The son of an artist, he began sketching and painting at a young age.  He studied art and graphic design at the University of Illinois. After college, he completed a tour in Viet Nam flying rescue helicopters. After a successful career in Aviation Insurance. retiring in 2008, Dan returned full time to his easel and works in oil, watercolors and pen & ink.

Dan has captured one of the more popular sailing classes on Barnegat Bay.  The painting is beautifully framed in an ash-gray frame , size is 19 1/2" X 24".
