Hand-Cut Vintage British Half-Penny

This an actual British half-penny coin, meticulously drilled and cut by hand into a unique and elegant pendant. The sterling silver jump ring is soldered closed. The pendant is approximately 25mm and is copper colored.

About the artist: I learned to cut coins into jewelry by cutting Abe Lincoln's profile out of old copper pennies on my fathers jewelry workbench. Dad taught me all the tips and tricks to making the finest cut-coin jewelry, and after 30 years of practice, I am able to cut the finest detail while also keeping the pendant strong and durable.
