Coffee Roasting Class & Coffee from Yellow Brick

Most of us can't imagine a world where coffee isn't the first thing you reach for in the morning. There are plenty of options out there to get a pre-made cup of java (and the LOCAL ones are the best of course) but if you are the do-it-yourself type you'll love this package from Tucson's Yellow Brick Coffee. Owners Anna & David Perreira will share their knowledge and passion for the coffee bean with you in a 60 minute roasting class that will introduce the basic principles of coffee roasting. Participants will get a hands-on approach while identifying sensory milestones, and learning the science and language applied to roasting. While the coffee is being cooled and packaged, instructors will lead an open discussion about the process. Then you will be on your way with your freshly roasted 12oz bag of beans.

Also included in this package are four packages of coffee from Honduras, Papua New Guinea, Kenya & Costa Rica.

Yellow Brick Coffee is located at 3220 S. Dodge Blvd. in Tucson.  The class takes place at this location.  The certificate is good for one person and includes a 12 oz bag of freshly roasted coffee.  Call for appointment, no expiration date listed.
