Artist Statement:

Like many of you, I grew up loving the freedom my bike gave me. On road trips my dad used to let my brother and I out of the truck to ride our bikes down the mountain passes we had just driven up. Crazy to think about now but I’m still having fun riding down them. In 2001 I started working for a company building bicycle frames. I had always enjoyed working with my hands and bicycle fabrication just clicked on many levels. From the manufacturing skills it takes to complete a build, to the creativity and technique it takes to pull a vision together.

The Angus track bike is an executed vision. Simplicity is my favorite part of fixed gears. From every angle it has only one purpose. To shred. The eagle was drawn by Milan artist/cyclist Rocco Malatesta and painstakingly painted here as homage to my younger self enamored by the Burt Reynolds Trans AM. Grow a moustache to rival your thighs and power on. It’s for a great cause.
