Bio: I started working in the golf industry at 16 years of age and quickly developed a passion for the game of golf, the people, and the business.  A passion that lead to a lot of hours and hard work on my golf game and business skills.  I graduated with a Golf Management Diploma from Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton and around the same time joined the PGA of Canada as an Assistant Golf Professional.  By the age of 30, I was hired as a Head Golf Professional at Silver Springs G&CC, and 9 years later I was honored to be awarded PGA of Canada’s Head Professional of the Year.  My career path included many roles and many times required me to move provinces and within the industry to gain more experience. I was fortunate enough to be the Head Professional at two of the busiest private clubs in Calgary prior to becoming Executive Professional at Willow Park G&CC.  I am now entering my 4th year as the General Manager, COO at Silver Springs G&CC, a private club in NW Calgary with 532 Shareholders.  I work closely with the Club President and Board of Directors and it is my responsibility to lead the overall club operations and the execution of the long-term strategic plan.  My position includes leadership of four departments (Food and Beverage, Golf Operations, Turf Care and Administration), financial excellence, exceptional quality member and guest experiences, employee relations, safety and security, and public relations.   

Fun Fact: I love travel and some of my travels have included;  bungy jumpy in New Zealand and sleeping in a safari tent in Kruger National Park in South Africa.
