I am honored to be part of such a poignant art project with fellow artists that know we can change the world through our work. The idea that a physical wall is being built to further divide us from our neighbor feels wrong to me and that is why I am here. Although some walls can be inspiring and spiritual, this wall seems to only polarize our already confused country. Build Hope, Not Walls is a perfect example of how our community and outreach can positively challenge those who summon for the wall.
