A one-of-a-kind walking stick hand-crafted especially for the Bidwell House by avocational naturalist Dr. Richard Green. For pleasure and safety, let it accompany you on your next Berkshire hike.
This walking stick is made from American Hornbeam (also called Ironwood or Musclewood), grown at Goose Pond. It Is 49" inches long and weighs 1.5 pounds. It has multiple rubbings of spar varnish. The leather lanyard has a sliding barrel know, and the tip has a copper ferrule and a steel stud.
