'CHERRY BLOSSOM BLUES' - ASIAN-INSPIRED DISH SET FOR ONE

EAT IN STYLE... ASIAN STYLE THAT IS!

Here are 4 gorgeous, VERY heavy & solid Western Raku-style dishes and bowls for you.  Colour changes in different light, but the outside is a semi-matte brown-black, as is the inside border, but there it takes on a metallic sheen, and is covered in stylised cherry / apple blossoms in a pale blue-grey.  The brown fades into a shiny teal-green glaze, which further fades to a shiny, crackled blue one in the center.

  • One large triagular plate, 11" apex to base
  • One small triangular plate, 8" apex to base
  • One irregularly round bowl, 7 1/2" diameter, approx 2" deep
  • One deep square bowl, 6 1/2", approx 2 1/2" deep

A beautiful unique set for that night when nothing but Japanese Sushi, Vietnamese Phô, or Thai Pad Khee Mao will do... or perhaps all three plus some Korean pickles on the side, if you want to walk on the wild side: there are dishes enough for all of those!
