These earrings are made with real fall-collected oak leaves, dried, then electroplated first in nickel, then copper, and finished with a dip of iridescent copper electroplated in copper.  next, the leaves are paired as close as possible, and finished with findings.

"The oak, as a personification of power and strength, was sacred to the druids and dedicated to the god Thor. "You stand firm like an oak tree," it says in the correct sense. But through the oak we can not only recharge our reserves of strength, it can also give us hope and courage. The oak also has healing powers and helps us to strengthen our immunity through the cold season.
Manufacturing process – electroplating
The leaf is usually harvested in autumn.  Then the woody structure of the leaf interior is best suited for the further processing process. The leaf skeleton is boiled in a sodium carbonate bath (simple baking sodaJ) and then carefully freed from the excess tissue.  After drying, a special conductive coating is placed over the skeletonized sheet. And then the sheet can be refined with the desired metal.
The process of making such leaves is quite elaborate and costly."
