Robert Ross

I am a Truro based Plen Aire and figurative artist, executive coach, psychologist and life long learner committed to enhancing how self and other awareness links us to each other and allows us to connect. I use different media, primarily oil on board or canvas, and watercolor on paper.  I am interested in how perception shapes who we are and how we see each other and the world.

I enjoy hiking and traveling the world in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these hikes in nature and within other cultures.

My Tile celebrates the Wampanoag gift of "The Three Sisters" planting of corn, beans and squash. This abstract imagines the beans scrambling up the corn stalk surrounded by the sprawling squash plant.
