Generously donated by The Spartan Woodshop based in Davison, MI this bat house is built to bat conservation group standards to ensure an optimal environment and can easily accommodate dozens of bats. Bats like warmth, and this house is designed to help keep your bats warm, dry and safe.

- 1 x Single Chamber Cedar Bat House in brown stain (23” H x 16” W x 5.5” L)
Features include:
• Made from 13/16” thick Western red cedar, known for its decay and insect resistance
• Landing area with horizontal grooves that extends below the entrance to help bats reach the interior
• Uses the recommended 3/4" space between partitions preferred by bats
• Horizontal kerf cut "grooves" on the front and back of the inside, as well as the landing area, give bats plenty of options to safely land, hang and move around (48 separate cuts equates to over 52 feet of grooves in total!)
• Angled roof design to help keep water away from the main section of the bat house
• 1/2” wide ventilation strip assists in proving a temperature gradient for the bats- warmer towards the top, cooler towards the bottom
• The interior is stained jet black to help absorb and retain heat
• Silicone sealant is used under the roof and at key locations to help keep water out and heat in
• Premium exterior sealing and waterproofing stains are used for maximum durability and additional heat capture
• Assembled with weather-resistant polymer coated screws for durability and longevity- won't come apart like commonly used brad nails
• Easy installation with pre-attached French cleat - hang your bat house on your house, barn, post etc.
