Hocking Hills River

This painting is mixed media. Incorporating acrylics and high-quality pigments in epoxy resin to create a stunning shiny finish which brings added depth to the painting. Also added are small river rock to bring the feeling that you are sitting on the edge of the river.

The piece measures 24” X 30” and is on a 2”in depth cradled solid birch painting panel and professional framed with a 2” floating frame.

Hocking Hills River is in the national acclaimed Hocking Hill State Park in Southeast Ohio. I have always loved the tranquility of being along a creek in the forest. With all the beauty and spectacular features of this area I felt an instant connection to this area and was inspired to create this piece.

It is so important to bring recognition to our water sources and natural environments We need to keep these pristine areas intact for preservation of future generations.
