Mountain Spring - Sarah Curley - Framed Original Mixed Media painting measures 24" x 18"
This image is an abstract, desert-mountain scene. The color blue of a clear desert sky is the starting point. I have used the process from the 1800s (cyanotype) that botanists used to capture images. Placing chemicals on silk, as my canvas, I have created a mountain scene through non-camera optics on the silk fabric. I have then placed colored pencil, on a fine art print of rice paper, for my final, unique image.
