Three Rings - Original Botanical Mixed Media Painting - Kim Walker measures 19" x 13" x 5"
This unique table sculpture is created on three separate birch rings with unique compositions on all six sides. The rings can turn and reveal a variety of display options. The rings can be at different angles and the sculpture can be viewed from all sides. It is done with acrylics and various paint mediums as well as many different elements from nature such as leaves, petals, sticks, etc. Each ring sits atop a metal dowel and the base is mahogany.
Kim's work is currently being shown at the Mayo Clinic, Phoenix Second Floor Gallery. The Mayo mission is to provide the best care to every patient. They believe the art installations provide a positive and healing environment and contribute towards their mission. Kim's intention is to showcase the beauty, inspiration, metaphoric lessons, and healing that we can find in nature.
