We often imagine human forms in the stately saguaros as we pass by them on the trail. Heading east on the Dragonfly trail were these two friends reaching for a hug. With the heat stress in 2020, many saguaros succumbed to fatigue. These two are still healthy and happy to have survived. Framed size 20" x16" x1", oil on linen panel.
In 2020, a safe distance hug was better than none.
