Serenity - Fused Glass - Jacki Cohen measures 12" in diameter and comes on a custom metal stand.
The various shades of blue symbolizing water also embody the many lakes and streams of the great state 48. Arizona is not just desert!
It is a fused glass that has been fired in a kiln multiple times in temperatures up to 1250 degrees Fahrenheit. The schedule of the firing will determine the desired outcome and manipulate the glass in the kiln. This piece was fired at a full fuse to create a flat surface then fired at a tack fuse schedule to create a textured interest.
