The Blue Note Distillery Trio

Get the best of Memphis' Blue Note Distillery with this pack of Blue Note Premium Small batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey, River Set Rye, and a special release of FL Watson Blue Note Bourbon.

The first is the flagship Blue Note Premium Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged a minimum of nine years with a proof of 93.  It is a proprietary blend of two mashbills 84% Corn, 8% Rye and 8% Malted Barley and 70% Corn, 22% Rye and 8% Malted Barley.  It has Maple and Butterscotch on the nose, having a Maple, Caramel and Vanilla on the taste with a finish that's smooth with hints of vanilla.  

The second is River Set Rye. Aged a minimum of four years with a proof of 93.  This Straight Tennessee Rye consists of a mashbill of 95% Rye and 5% malted barley. With Vanilla and spice on the nose, a taste of crisp apple, cinnamon, vanilla and oak and an inherently smooth finish with lingering hints of vanilla, apple and spice.  Goes great in cocktails, on ice or neat in the glass.  

Special Release of 10 to 15 yr old  FL Watson Blue Note Bourbon
The last is our annual special release in honor of our partner, Frank L Watson. Released each January on Frank's birthday, this year's FL Watson is a blend of 10yr to 15yr old Blue Note Bourbon aged for one full year in a Madeira Cask. Each FL Watson release is always something special and extremely limited in availability. This year's offering is only 258 bottles. This is the second year we have released the FL Watson and as we monitored our exotic barrel finish projects it became clear the Madeira finish would have to be the FL Watson for 2021. Hands down it is absolutely amazing. There is no retail availability and only quietly acquired by those in the know. (January 27th is Frank's Birthday and this year he turned 80.)
