Mike has been involved in a number of other significant rock and roll collaborations, conceiving, performing with or as part of bands including COLOURSØUND, The Jack Tars, Big Country and Los Mondo Bongo. Mike has also been recognised for the campaigning he has done to further cancer care in his own country of Wales and beyond, receiving an MBE in 2019 in recognition of his efforts.
