As an artist, Mississippi’s own, Bradley Gordon gives a new voice to the imagery of the south though his art. He gains inspiration from the uniqueness that makes this land his home.

Born in Clarksdale, MS Bradley Gordon studied at The University of Mississippi (BFA, Art Education, 2001) and was a resident artist at Scall Art Studios in Taichung City, Taiwan (2006).  After returning from a year in Narita, Japan where he actively pursued his two loves of painting and music, he moved home to the Mississippi Delta to pursue painting as a career (2010).  Currently he lives and works in Oxford.

A studio visit is a chance to witness works while they are still in progress, getting a first-hand look at where the magic happens. He will take you through his studio, discussing inspirations, mediums, and processes for his current work. Bradley and his brush can magically bring animals of kinds to life with bold color, texture and point-like strokes creating canvases that seem to be living, breathing creatures of the wilds we know and love here in Mississippi.
