An unforgettable evening awaits you and three guests as you join Nathanial Kahn, award winning documentarian and son of architect Louis Kahn, at the iconic Margaret Esherick house in Philadelphia for a private tour and dinner. Hosts Paul Savidge and Dan Macey will provide a delectable evening of cocktails and dinner prepared by Dan, a professional food stylist. The couple who have owned the house since 2014 spent 17 months meticulously conserving Kahn’s modern jewel box house, which is studied worldwide as an outstanding example of the architect’s mature design principles. The house also features a kitchen designed and created by famed woodworker and sculpture Wharton Esherick, considered the founder of the American Craft Movement. Nathaniel Kahn will join the party to provide his personal insights into the life and work of his father. This unique experience is for four people and can be redeemed at an agreed-upon date by the owners and auction winners in 2021.
