"Singing Sands of Basin Head" by Aleksia Shoalts

In Basin Head, Prince Edward Island, the sands are white instead of rust, the sea a dark sapphire blue. Children and adults alike are jumping off the salt soaked pier into the clear water below, letting the current gently pull them out to the beach. All the while the the sun’s golden rays bathing them in warm light.

This is one of my fondest memories, and testing our bravery with the locals, in jumping off the pier on a hot summer afternoon.
