The Madrone Winery is located on October Farms in the San Juan Island Valley. Enjoy a picnic for two under the heritage apple trees with Winemaker and Co-Owner Shaun Salamida. After your picnic, Shaun will give you a private tour of the winery.
Inspired by French Champagne, Alsatian Dry Whites and Bordeaux Reds, Shaun and Amy Salamida are striving to bring a taste of Europe to the San Juan Islands.
The wines are made with minimal intervention, with a goal of revealing the grape, terroir and story behind each glass. Shaun has a key interest in natural, unfiltered wines, with the goal of planting and farming an organic and bio-dynamic vineyard on San Juan Island.
