The All Fowl Lap Quilt by Edi Blomberg

A colorful rooster, two types of ducks and a pair of white chickens are the center of the twelve large rectangles of this quilt. Each irregularly shaped 'portrait' is surrounded by two borders. Dark brown sashing separates the rectangles. A border of the elephant print used for the back completes the quilt top. This lap quilt or table topper is 44 by 47 inches and has a hanging sleeve on the back if you prefer it as a wall hanging.

I have lived on Lopez Island for over fifty years. Although I started sewing as a child, most of my quilts have been made since I retired. It is a very satisfying craft when working with traditional designs, and becoming art when I design something myself.
