Annie Centeno - Nite-Light For The Creative Muses

See the altar here: https://youtu.be/RziSlAQwz_M

Annie Centeno created an elaborate collage in the piece entitled "Late Night for the Creative Muses." Collaged paper ephemera covers the altar and a clay head holding feathers and paintbrushes reminds us of our divine right to creativity.

Bring this beautiful altar home if you're needing help with creative blocks or want to boost your focused creative efforts.

ARTIST BIO:

San Antonio native Anita Centeno is a fiber and mixed media artist.  In a city rich with diverse art education opportunities she has taken advantage of a lifelong pursuit of learning from art education institutions locally and through workshops and coursework with well established artists.  Although cloth and surface design in fiber are primary interests, she is also well known for jewelry designs in epoxy resin and more recently with the use of shrink film.  Recycling found objects and reuse of fabric and paper are typically integral to her creative process.  About her artwork she states “I love combining synthetic plastics and resins with natural materials such as wood, gemstones, and metal – it’s the synchronous tension of the man-made material existing with natural elements that stirs my curiosity and creativity!”
