Coastal Weather Report #5 (PRO)
Coastal Weather Report #5 is part of a series where I’m exploring my appreciation of the changeable weather where I live (Sunshine Coast of BC). Both the beauty of my environment and the quality of the weather are at risk. It breaks my heart and causes me to want to document it in the way I express myself most fully - abstract expressionism. What do you see? What do you feel?
I used liquid acrylics, collage and acrylic ink in this piece. The collage is made up of old sewing pattern pieces and recycled, painted tissue paper. The final finish is resin which adds both protection and a high gloss to highlight.
The piece is 12x12” on deep canvas. Shipping in North America is included.
