Collective Ambition (PRO)

This is an 11" X 14" digital art print on 100lb uncoated stock. It is #01 of 25 limited prints available of this image. In a search for ways to align myself with conservation efforts, I came across these annual Wild Auction events and knew this would be a good place to start. This piece was made specifically for the event. My initial interest for subject matter leaned toward the more dramatic bears, wolves, salmon or whales as the focal point. However, I ended up going with a creature that I found to carry a lot of mischief and humour in its demeanor despite being a little more visually humble than the other animals I had originally considered. Here, a harbour seal chases a school of herring before getting distracted by the presence of the viewer.
