Humpback Whale Pen & Ink/Watercolor
This painting is inspired by one of the gentle giants of the sea, the humpback whale. Having grown up on the Oregon Coast, I have many memories of watching for whale tales out at sea, and searching for sea stars in tide pools. The colors in this watercolor combine bright blues and teals with subtle browns and purples. I hope it brings some color and joy to your home with it's geometric style, and bubble accents.
