Chef Amanda Freitag Private Cooking Event for 10 people

Get ready for an experience of a lifetime! During this hour-long visit via Zoom, up to 10 guests will be able to interact with Chef Amanda Freitag and cook along with her (or just watch!) as she creates a special dish and prepares a tasty cocktail from her home kitchen. Be sure to ask her for cooking tips and behind-the-scene stories along the way! The lucky winner will consult privately with Amanda to choose a dish your guests will love. Chef Amanda Freitag is the co-star of Food Network’s hit series, Chopped. She has battled Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America, competed for the title of America’s Next Iron Chef, and also contributes to Unique Eats on the Cooking Channel.

A New Jersey native, Amanda attended the Culinary Institute of America. Her career as a chef has included positions at Vong under the guidance of Jean-Georges Vongerichten, with chef Diane Forley at Verbena as chef de cuisine, under chef Alain Passard in Paris at his venerable Arpege restaurant, and at Cesca as Tom Valenti's chef de cuisine, earning two stars from The New York Times. Following Cesca, Amanda became executive chef at Gusto in the West Village, where her food was met with critical acclaim. She went on to become executive chef at The Harrison in TriBeCa, earning numerous accolades from local and national media, including a two-star review from The New York Times. Amanda is the author of "The Chef Next Door: A Pro Chefs Recipes for Fun, Fearless Home Cooking."
