TYLER GERALD is a Student at Waltham Forest College studying Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design, who's about to start an internship for one year before taking up her place study Illustration at the London Metropolitan University.

"The main themes for this painting was positivity, cheerfulness and dreams because I wanted to create a painting that could brighten up someone’s day. To make the painting look comforting I used shapes with curved edges such as circles. The colours were inspired by the Pop Art and Fauvism movements because of the use of vivid colours. I always enjoyed using pastel colours because it makes my artwork look striking and upbeat."
