Northern Lights (PRO)
In this painting, I wanted to convey both the rugged beauty and harshness of northern Western Canada. The Wolves are an expression of the land itself : it may at firstly appear as a bleak and hostile territory - but life thrives. The Wolves are a bonded family pack and represent the determination and perseverance to make it in often extreme conditions. The preservation of our Northern Canadian wilderness is as important as safeguarding other habitats that are more comfortable to people. The existence value of nature is not to be questioned.
