Devin Funchess made his mark on the Michigan Wolverines ever since his unexpected start as a freshman in 2012. He went on to be named the Big Ten's Tight End of the Year in 2013 and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 2015 NFL Draft. Funchess finished his first pro season with 31 catches for 473 yards, the fifth most in franchise history for a rookie receiver. Funchess' five touchdown catches in the regular season were second most for a rookie.
