The Mob Museum

The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories—from the birth of the Mob to today’s headlines. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at these topics through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. It debuted a major renovation in 2018, including a Crime Lab, Use of Force Training Experience, and Organized Crime Today exhibit as well as The Underground, a basement-level Prohibition history exhibition featuring a speakeasy and distillery and sponsored by Zappos. Since opening in 2012, The Mob Museum has accumulated numerous accolades, including being named one of TripAdvisor’s “Top 25 U.S. Museums,” one of Las Vegas Weekly’s “Twenty Greatest Attractions in Las Vegas History,” one of Hotel.com’s Top 7 “Travel Brag Landmarks,” one of USA Today’s “12 Can’t Miss U.S. Museum Exhibits,” “A Must for Travelers” by The New York Times, one of “20 Places Every American Should See” by Fox News and Budget Travel magazine, “Best Museum” by Nevada Magazine and is a multi-year winner of the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” rankings. The Mob Museum has been awarded accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums, the highest national recognition afforded U.S. museums.

Discovery Children's Museum

Discovery Children's Museum opened March 9, 2013 in the Donald W. Reynolds Discovery Center adjacent to The Smith Center in Symphony Park. Much more than just the relocation of the current museum, the new museum helps redefine Las Vegas as a city that values culture and the arts, an urban lifestyle and, most importantly, its children. Three-stories tall in stature, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum 58,000-square-foot building is home to nine-themed exhibition halls totaling 26,000 square feet of interactive hands-on core exhibits. The 5,000 square foot Featured Exhibitions Gallery is large enough to accommodate major exhibits from the nation’s leading museums. The new location is a safe, easily accessible, family-oriented and energetic educational destination that offers visitors extraordinary learning experiences and enhanced school, public and extended programs.

Neon Museum

Founded in 1966, the Neon Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. It has been named "Best Museum" by Las Vegas Weekly, one of "Sin City's Best Retro Sites" by MSN, "No. 1 Las Vegas Museum Sure to Entertain and Educate" by USAToday's 10best.com, "One of the Top 10 Coolest Things You Didn't Know You Could Do" by Forbes.com, and more. On its 2.27-acre campus, the Neon Museum houses an outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard ("boneyard" is traditionally the name for an area where items no longer in use are stored); the North Gallery, home to the nighttime augmented-reality, audiovisual spectacle, "Brilliant!", the new Boulevard Gallery outdoor exhibit and event space; and its visitors' center, housed inside the former La Concha Motel lobby. The museum collection also includes nine restored signs installed as public art throughout downtown Las Vegas and one restored sign on view at the outdoor Fashion Show Plaza on the Las Vegas Strip. Public education, outreach, research, archival preservation and a grant-funded neon sign survey represent a selection of the museum's ongoing projects. Both the Neon Boneyard and the La Concha Visitors' Center are located at 770 Las Vegas Blvd. North in Las Vegas.

Cannabition Museum

Celebrate the Art, Culture, and History Surrounding Cannabis Use at Cannabition Cannabis Museum. As Las Vegas’ first immersive cannabis museum and the world’s only cannabis-themed attraction of its kind, Cannabition is a 10,500 square-foot journey featuring more than 20 unique, cannabis art installations. The Las Vegas art museum’s world-famous exhibits include the world’s largest bong, “Bongzilla” and Hunter S. Thompson’s “Red Shark.” Launched the Fall of 2018 in Downtown Las Vegas by Denver’s ‘Godfather of Weed,’ JJ Walker, Cannabition features elaborate, cannabis-inspired pop-up art installations built by leading artists and experiential exhibit and event designers, included Jerome Baker Designs.
