"Benediction" by Patrick Merrill

Patrick Merrill (b.1948 d.2010) was a master printmaker. This piece is a densely colored intaglio print. Patrick's later works often dealt with the political and combined religious imagery in a secular context. His last public exhibit at Cal State Fullerton featured a large print 6' by 12' entitled "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse".
