One Minute Ballad by Shara Nova Written For You
Shara Nova, also known as My Brightest Diamond, is a prolific composer, songwriter, and performer. We recently collaborated with her on Timeline, an evening-length song cycle setting poetry of Walt Whitman and others, which celebrates cycles of life and death, joy and sorrow.
Shara straddles the worlds of pop and contemporary classical music organically in a way that few can. She'll be performing on our Night of Awesomeness June 7th during a break from her tour with tune-yards.
