Prospect Gymnastics is a USA Gymnastics member club offering gymnastics classes, birthday parties, toddler open play and summer camp for children ages 0 – 14 years old.

Prospect Gymnastics uses developmental gymnastics training to promote happy, healthy living among the children in our neighborhood. Our quality recreational gymnastics program focuses on building mental, emotional and physical skills. Our motto is “Build Skills, Gain Confidence, Have Fun.”

My name is Mina Marsow. I am a certified USA gymnastics instructor and the founder of Prospect Gymnastics. When I moved to Ditmas Park this past September I realized that the neighborhood did not have a gymnastics program. I loved gymnastics as a kid. I realized that I had the opportunity to share my passion with the children in this neighborhood. After a bit of scouting, a local music shop, Ezra Guitar, agreed to host my classes in their recital room. Prospect Gymnastics was born. February 2014, Prospect Gymnastics began its first semester at Ezra Guitar. Summer 2014, we designed a permanent home for Prospect Gymnastics in a fully renovated 750 sq studio at 1023 Church Avenue. Our concept is simple: build a space that is fully padded and safe for children and equipped with skill building gymnastics apparatus. This will provide the parents and children in Ditmas Park with the communities’ first indoor toddler play-space and children’s artistic gymnastic program. We installed a 2 inch foam carpet floor, bars and rings for strength building, two balance beams –low & high- for coordination, and a 15 foot trampoline for learning tumbling skills that are difficult on floor.

On September 4, 2014, Prospect Gymnastics opened the doors of its brand new facility at 1023 Church Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Prospect Gymnastics now offers developmental gymnastics classes, toddler indoor play and children’s birthday parties and events for children ages 18 months to 14 years old. We are really excited to be a part of this community. We’ve collaborated and been supported by so many local businesses and parents. We’re not just building something for the community this community is building it with us.

Prospect Gymnastics is back this year with another round of Summer camp for preschoolers and also grade school kids! Join us at Prospect Gymnastics this summer for both gymnastics training and hip-hop dance alongside fun art projects and water activities. Our professional choreographers and USA gymnastics certified coaches will work every week on a themed hip hop dance with specific gymnastics and acrobatics skills. Weather permitting, parents are invited to join us in the backyard at 3 PM on Friday for a short dance performance and demonstration of what we worked on over the week.
