"The Water Warrior" by Michelle Siu

The woman featured on this paddle is Autumn Peltier, also known as the “Water Warrior”. 

The crashing waves represent her strength and power in her fight for clean water. 

Oil paints were used to bring texture and a smoother effect to the waves.

This paddle was submitted as a solo trek alongside other members of Middlefield Collegiate Institute.
