"Lakeport" by Nancy Simmons

The artwork on the paddle evolved as a journey from start to finish. I commonly work using paper, inks and markers to draw caricatures. It has a geometric theme using stain, texturing effects and colour blocks in primary hues, finished with a clear satin varnish. Its meaning is entirely open to interpretation.

This paddle was submitted as a solo trek for Lakeport Dental Group.
