Key Largo Diving Trip with Ocean First

Key Largo is the perfect underwater classroom to complete Open Water certification dives or just about any continuing education training. The beautiful, clear warm waters of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary contain amazing reef systems and prolific fish life. This protected environment is home to eagle rays, turtles, Caribbean reef sharks, nurse sharks, moray eels, barracuda, and large schools of reef fish! The Florida Keys are also home of “Shipwreck Trail” where divers can explore shipwrecks from the Spanish American War and Civil War. Certified divers can also dive the 510 ft. Spiegel Grove, a Coast Guard transport ship that was intentionally sunk in 2002. All dives are conducted off Sea Dweller’s specialized dive boat that has plenty of room for our dive group.

The Holiday Inn Key Largo Resort is centrally located next to the same marina used by Sea Dwellers. This easy access makes getting to the dive boat on time a breeze! With 2 swimming pools, a full restaurant and bar, and large, comfortable rooms the Holiday Inn is a perfect place to relax after a full day of diving. There are numerous restaurants in close proximity and a supermarket and pharmacy close by.

Trips run quarterly, see Ocean First website for dates & trip leaders (Next trip is on November 9-12, 2017 Trip Leader: Gary Boyer).
