Rehabilitated Wild Animal Release: Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow
Join staff from the DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center in Glen Ellyn to celebrate the rehabilitation and release of an injured or orphaned native wild animal at a DuPage forest preserve.
Our wildlife interpreter will extend an invitation to join the center's staff for a release of a rehabilitated wild animal. Learn about the patient’s history and participate in the release of that animal when you meet us at a forest preserve destination. Also hear about how the Forest Preserve District is doing its part to create healthy and viable habitats that support a variety of native plants and animals.
Celebrate that animal's return to the wild with "Time," a framed original acrylic painting of a jackrabbit by Krissy Schwartz, DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center volunteer, of CattyCraft Studio.
Includes:
-
Gift certificate to join a wildlife interpreter (up to 10 individuals) at the release of a rehabilitated wild animal
-
Framed acrylic painting of a jackrabbit
