Lidded Vessel
Lidded vessel, smoke-fired with ferric chloride and horsehair, created by New Hampshire artist Alison Dodd. Alison enjoys working with the dichotomy of the fine control needed when throwing pots and the uncontrollable aspect of using alternative firing techniques. This is a truly beautiful decorative piece. It is also appropriate as an urn for loved ones’ ashes.
