Tibetan Ceremonial Horn (Radung)
Copper and brass Tibetan ceremonial horn (radung). The radung is played during musical interludes in tantric sacred ceremonies. Its sound is low, and resembles a didgeridoo. Every New Year’s Day, it resounds from the rooftops of Buddhist monasteries all over the Himalayan region, as a symbol of ushering in the new year with the sound of dharma. A unique addition to any shrine room.
