Cape Fear Kayak Fishing Trip for Two (Wilmington)

Enjoy a full day of kayak fishing on the Cape Fear river with Dan George, an accomplished fun and tournament kayak fisherman, as your guide for the day.

This trip is for the seasoned angler or the novice that would just enjoy getting out and catching some fish. The target species are red drum, seatrout, and flounder with many other species in abundance during the spring, summer, and fall months. Winter months hold striped bass in the downtown Wilmington area of the Cape Fear but due to cold water conditions, winter trips are only for those with more experience. Kayaks and fishing gear can be provided.

This trip can be form fitted for all ages whether for the experienced angler or someone that would like to catch their first fish. A guarantee for fun, adventure, and the experience of our beautiful coastal gem known as the Cape Fear River.

Please note: You will be able to launch from: Fort Fisher, Southport, or Downtown Wilmington (depending on where the best fish are at the time).
