Vintage Japanese Kutani Porcelain pups
This vintage pair of Akita puppies measures about 6" tall. With a slightly tilted head, each plump Akita puppy is sitting and looking alert. The wonderful arabesque pattern (known in Japanese as "Karakusa") has rich navy and persimmon colors traced with a generous use of accentuated gold and white. The condition of both pieces is good, **however there is a slight crack on the right side of one puppy, just below the ear.
