My work is a culmination of time and presence. Moments and images appear in front of me to be explored and presented to their best advantage.  When the recorded image doesn’t express all that I want, I then paint, as it gives me the time to fully engage the image as well as the meditative time to fully understand and express the nuances of the image. 

I am a multi-media artist working in both photography and painting.

I have been a photographer for the majority of my life having been handed a Kodak 120 film camera when I was 5 years old. I worked with film until the digital age dawned and have never looked back. I shoot a broad spectrum of subjects from portraits, still life, pastoral and landscape. 

I also began painting young, then after a lengthy hiatus, life, family and other agendas, I picked up the brushes and began applying myself once again. I work primarily in oils primarily selecting painting subjects from my photography.
