• DESTINATION

Tuscany is an unforgettable destination with its beautiful, rolling hills that are lined with cypress trees, endless vineyards and orderly rows of olive trees. Not only is this one of the most beautiful regions in the world, but it is also one the most important destinations for exploring food, wine, art, culture and history. This entire week will be dedicated to learning all there is to know about the regional wines and visiting the different areas in which they are produced.

• THE VILLA

Your home for the week will be a luxury villa nestled in the hills of the Tuscany countryside, surrounded by amazing landscapes and unforgettable views. The villas are composed of 4 queen bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. The cosy common areas have lovely, warm atmospheres that are perfect for spending time together. Take a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool or a walk in the gardens and lawn surrounding the villa, immersing yourself in nature.

• THE WEEK

Your week will be spent in the comfort of your beautiful private villa, where you can relax in the beauty and nature of the Tuscan countryside. A private chef will prepare a delicious breakfast each morning, as well as one dinner during the week where you will sample local traditional cuisine paired perfectly with regional wine. A sommelier will present the wine during dinner and explain the concept for matching food with wine, helping you recognize the different flavors that play off of each other.

You will have a driver at your disposal each day throughout the week. Three of those days will be dedicated to fully exploring Tuscan wine, in fact your driver will also be a sommelier for these wine tours. You will visit two wineries on each of these three days, with a delicious lunch included. One day will spent in the Chianti region, one of the most famous in the world for wine production. Another day you will explore Montalcino, discovering the King of Italian wines, Brunello. During this day you will enjoy an exclusive experience, sitting down to lunch together with the owner and winemaker of one of the most famous artisanal producers of Brunello. The lunch will take place in the private villa of the vintner and includes traditional dishes paired with Brunello, Brunello Riserva and their Super Tuscan wine.

The third full day you will taste the new wave of Tuscan wines. We will go from Montepulciano where you will sample the renowned Nobile, through a cypress lined landscape to arrive in Cortona, the land of Syrah.

You will have a driver available on the other days of the week, who will help you plan each day’s excursion based on what you prefer doing. You can visit any number of nearby cities such as Florence, Siena or Assisi. One airport pick up and drop off on your arrival and departure days is also included.
