“For my Little Free Library piece, I chose what first came to my mind when I thought of literature. Harry Potter, written by J. K. Rowling has been a classic piece of literature since 1995. Personally, Harry Potter is one of my favorite series and I'm sure many people feel the same. I hope to inspire people with this piece to maybe read books such as Harry Potter.”
Artist bio:
My name is Sora Acosta. I've been an artist for almost four years now under the instruction of my art teacher Katie Haas. I've really grown and improved over the past four years in pursuit of becoming a greater artist. In my line of work, I concentrate on serious topics, such as mental illnesses, to bring awareness through my art. I'm really thankful to be working with Little Free Libraries because, with this amazing project, I'm able to help spread the benefits of literature.
All bids are final. If you are the winning bidder your library can be picked up at the Scottsdale Culinary Festival at 6:00pm on 4/15/18. Libraries may also be picked up the following week ending April 20th at Southwest Human Development details will be delivered to winning bidder. Shipping is available and will be based on the actual cost of shipping plus $20 handling fee for packaging materials.
