Katie Haas

A note from the artist:

“I am a Phoenix native, and am inspired by the dessert that surrounds us.  I love organic shapes and colors found in cacti and succulents.  I stayed true to my style of slightly abstracting natural forms by simplifying shapes and intensifying colors of the succulents on this Little Free Library.”

Artist bio:

Katie Haas is from Phoenix Arizona. She specializes in oil on canvas paintings. Slightly abstracted natural forms depicted in bold colors are common themes in Katie’s artwork. She enjoys working large scale, with some of her paintings reaching 12’ in height. Katie has been commissioned by both private and corporate parties. In addition to creating her own art, Katie is a high school art teacher.
