Rock Gym 101 teaches students all the skills necessary for climbing in an indoor facility. The course covers the use of harnesses, specialized knots, and belay devices that help protect a climber who is high on the wall.

Each voucher is good for one Rock Gym 101 participant (11 & older) or Two Family Class participants (one parent and one child 5-17 years old). Both options include rental gear and a daily climbing pass. Participants 13 and under must take the class with a supervising adult. Wacky Walls not included. Advanced reservation required. Restrictions: Rock Gym 101 is offered in the evening during the week and in the morning and afternoon on weekends. Climbers younger than fourteen years old must be accompanied by an adult. Climbers ten and under will learn the knots and how to put on a harness, but will not be permitted to belay.
