Sundial Garden Pastel Painting by Judy Howard
This original pastel painting was painted en plein aire (on location outdoors) in the front yard of Viola Opdahl’s home on Wynkoop Road in Hurley, NY. It features her meditation garden and sundial with her nephew’s home next door in the background. The painting is double-matted and framed under glass in a narrow silver frame. It is wired for hanging on a wall, or it could be displayed on a decorative easel on a shelf.

About the artist: Judy Howard moved to the Hurley, NY, area in 2018 from northwest Arkansas. She is a former art teacher and graphic designer who paints landscapes in both pastel and watercolor. She has won numerous awards in art shows in Arkansas and currently has paintings in the Pastel Society of America 2020 Exhibit and the International Association of Pastel Societies 2020 Exhibit (both online).
