Scrappy Yallum Watercolor
Water color by Clara “Scrappy” Yallum: “Scrappy” was a Kingston native who, from childhood, loved the outdoors and nature. She studied at the Woodstock School of Art and became a painter and an art teacher. She created the Hudson Valley Collective and organized annual art shows. She had unsinkable good cheer. Her love of nature and zest for life can be seen in this watercolor of nasturtiums and black eye Susan’s. Measuring 10.5” X 22”, in a frame with a 3” mat, with total overall measurements of 28” x 17”. This painting manifests Scrappy’s happy outlook on life and love of nature. It would be a colorful addition to your home.
